Halal Kitchen Chinese is now under new ownership, and I discovered this the hard way. To fellow diners, I hope you see this before spending $55 here.
1) Their Malai Kofta is now a completely different dish—shockingly so. I found another review mentioning the same change.
2) The chicken tikka masala tasted like it was just floating in canned tomato soup, with identical consistency and flavor.
3) The chicken was tough and chewy, as if it had been frozen.
4) The samosas were awful and smelled like something from an old freezer.
5) The cilantro chutney was terrible and nothing like the versions we've had here before.

Bad reviews are correct! I don't do reviews but this place needs one and this place will get a real bad one that reflects their bad food and service. We ordered over $65 worth of food and was surprised at how awful they were compared to how it used to be. The food was so different and definitely not real Indian food. Our samosa was cold inside and what seemed to be stuffed frozen ingredients. We also ordered vindaloo and in my many experiences eating that dish, it had never looked the way I received it from this place. And the meat was almost to nothing. I traveled all the way from Jersey to enjoy my regular Indian cuisine, but was very disappointed. I used to come here frequently, but after reading the reviews, I see it’s under new ownership—that explains the change. The chicken tikka masala tasted like something frozen from a store. They really should have kept the original chef. The food was terrible; I didn’t even eat it and ended up throwing the entire order away. A complete waste of $40.
Guy at the front counter was sick and kept sneezing all over and blowing his nose in the sink without a tissue. I got so grossed out that I left without finishing my food which wasn’t tasty either. The Resturant is very nice, friendly staff. The food is very delicious. my mother loves the food so much that she wants to come back again. I recommend everyone to visit this restaurant and give a try. No doubt five star for the Resturant and staf !! Thank you for the great service!!
This restaurant is my go-to for comfort food. I always order from here on UberEats when I'm feeling under the weather. The prices are affordable, allowing me to enjoy delicious Chinese food without breaking the bank. I'm looking forward to trying their dine-in option soon!
Came back after the new owner took over. Food was delicious. We ordered the lunch specials (chicken and veg). We found the curries to be less oily, unlike other curry joints. The spices and salt in the curries were perfect! Would definitely come back again!
I think I found my go to halal Chinese food. Food was so delicious. I usually don?t give reviews but food was sooo good that I had to take the time and give a review. I?ll definitely be coming back!!!!

For general tso white rice price was more than 15$ It was delicious so didnt mind the price and ordered it again after 3 days, it was sooooo bad, chicken wasnt fresh and wast crispy at all
