Halber Mond Restaurant

I grew up in HP and my friends father owned the Hotel Halber Mond for a number of years. I spent a considerable amount of my childhood there getting to know the place inside out. It always irked me to see in later years what...it had become nothing special. How happy was I to see during my visit in HP this weekend that the Halber Mond has been rejuvenated and been given a new injection of life. We went on Friday evening for a small meal. We had dinner with friends and kids for a birthday. Service was nice, place is also pleasant. We thought first that this place would serve nice food but unfortunately I would rather say that it is first of all a pure Biergarden and that food...is nothing special... only not to get drunk to quickly having your beer. So all in all I would not come again because the place is nice but there are better and nicer Biergardens. Food would not help change this impression.

we were friends on 22.06 guests in half moon. the beer garden is quite nice, eating was ok, but the service powers are so unfriendly that we will not come anymore. the oberkellner took orders to annoyed and showed us with gesten as augen twist that he probably has no fun at his work. when I got a wrong drink, I said this. then I had to accept it now. only after I insisted on my properly ordered drink one exchanged it. so not! we have been married to two in the restaurant, although we were the only guests in the large room. the hugo as aperitif was good, the champagne with blueberries was somewhat thin. also the spaghetti with lachs impeccable. the hamburger with two thin grilled Roastbeef discs is not the nonplusultra. good bark chop is difficult to replace. Unfortunately, despite small business we have to wait for the bill.

This restaurant is a good place at the Bergstrasse for lunch or dinner. It offers a good selection of traditional German food. The place is nicely renovated and the staff is very friendly. For families, there's a nice playground for the children nearby.

This hotel can be the best choice in the area. Nice and professional personal . A very tasty breakfast. Clean and beautiful rooms waits for you to spent your time in this romantic town, who has a lot of choices almost every day .

the rooms in the maingaus are huge. junior suiten with separate living/sleeping area.The breakfast is clear but nevertheless fragrant and tasty.Also enough free parking is available. Réservez une table maintenant

eat very good, service very nice and competent. good wine selection. beer - brauereiausschank. themenbuffets and motto events at different seasons. also recommended as hotel.

Welcomed us despite our tired, noisy kids. Great atmosphere, enjoyed the apero special, seasonal beer and schnitzel.
