I just popped in for a beer, but the vibe wasn't what I anticipated from a typical sports bar. The server was polite, but not particularly friendly. Since I'd already eaten, I decided to go with the soup. Unfortunately, the broth was pretty bland and underseasoned. The place felt quite ordinary for my liking, though I noticed other patrons seemed to be enjoying their drinks and meals.
They recently added a convenience fee for credit card payments. I used to really enjoy dining at this restaurant, and I will still go occasionally to see friends, but I’ve greatly cut back on my regular visits because of this change. I can no longer recommend a place that disguises fees in this manner. It feels like a deceptive bait and switch, and it’s very disappointing.
This restaurant is fantastic and very reasonably priced. The calzone is simply delicious! We visited for a get-together with friends we hadn't seen in ages.
