Half Day Brewing - Réservation de table

I visited HDBC as part of Lake County Restaurant Week, but I was disappointed with the experience. No one informed us about the specials, and I had to check my phone for the information. When the bill arrived, the promotional pricing wasn’t applied. The avocado tacos only contained a small piece of avocado in each taco, which was underwhelming given the price. The staff were friendly, and the atmosphere is lovely, but unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. There are too many other options nearby to settle for a meal like this.

We really want to love this restaurant...it's local and has a great patio! But the service has been awful 4 times in a row always taking way too long, bringing the wrong food or apps at the wrong time, etc. Food is just so so though their menu seems promising. Execution is not great. Local beer is just average. Our server did bring free ice cream for the kids on this visit and comped our appetizers in recognition of the terrible service...which was a nice gesture. Hope they get better!

Great experience, enjoyed everything we ordered. Our only complaint would be the fact that we did not have silverware when our dinner was served. The server said she’d be right back with some, but she wasn’t so we took some from another table. Also, never offered refills on water. Will go back, enjoyed the atmosphere and the food!

This was our first time returning since we stopped coming here due to their extra fees for credit and debit card payments. We had a wonderful experience sitting on the patio. The food and beer were excellent, and it was great not to incur any extra charges for using a credit card. Réservez une table maintenant

Great food and excellent service. There’s a nice variety of food options and beers, including both bottles and cans, presented in a way that’s not overwhelming. It's conveniently located near the Art Fair.

The menu is innovative, and the staff is very friendly. However, the music is quite loud, making it not the best spot for quiet conversations.

Food was surprisingly good for a brewpub, and the outdoor patio seating was perfect on a warm summer evening. We loved it and will be back.
