Halfway Grill Takeaway

We ordered the special halfway grill kebab at this restaurant, along with salads, sauces, chips, and bread. After waiting for an hour, we called to see where our order was and were told it was only 3 minutes away. After an extra 20 minutes passed, we called again and received the same response. When we expressed concern about receiving potentially cold and old food, we were met with rudeness and told to return the food to the store before even receiving it. This customer service experience was shocking and the person answering the phone was extremely rude. I hope this restaurant doesn't have much competition.

Delivery arrived later then expected. However we had ordered a kofte and donor kebab only this turned up without the donor!! Rang at 6.56pm to explain was told would be rectified in 2 mins, but they had been busy. However at 7.29 we rang again as we still hadn’t received it and hubby had to leave for work in half hour. Was told it was on its way hubby said don’t bother and wanted a refund for the kebab. He was then told extremely rudely don’t bother using us again. I highly doubt a refund will be issued but we shall see. And at 7.35 the new kebab turned up and we said no thanks.

Take away order, took just over an hour. When it arrived the order was wrong in places and cold in others. Tried to call and resolve on the phone but didn’t answer after 10 mins. Annoyed (as I’d paid for delivery) I went to the restaurant and they redid the order, with the original receipt I gave them, they refused to reimburse for delivery. Yet again, wrong order! No food as refused to re do again and the bloke behind the counter had to be held back as he looked like he was going to hit me. Manager called just eat to get refund. 2 hours later, very hungry and very annoyed

I have read some reviews on here and felt I should comment, we have only been on the island for just over 2 years and have used them on countless times and we have never had a problem with them, yes occasionally we have something wrong with the order but they have had the decency to put it right more or less straight away, their service food is of good quality and i'm not just saying that I genuinely mean it, so in all I would most definitely recommend them, Great Service, Great Food, and nice people. First time ordering on a recommendation and food was terrible. Charged £15 for what was described as a combination Kebab but it was just donner meat, there was very little of the other meat. When I rang up to question the order the staff were rude and proceeded to put the phone down. Eventually got the money back. Avoid!!

We’ve had three lots of takeaway from this place it was cold. we waited an hour late on a pickup and we found plastic in the salad it is always terrible tried to talk to them about the problems we had not interested

Ordered pizas for the first time on recommendation from friends. Ordered at 1730 arrived at 2000 arrived 2 and a half hours later cold and limp.Very disappointed.

I've had a few things kebab wise in sheerness. All hot and miss: here I had extra large doner with chips and salad and it was really nice. Highly recommend Réservez une table maintenant

My hubby was sick for 2 days after eating one of their tasteless, dry kebabs. Ruined some of our holiday plans as he needed to be by a toilet! Avoid.

Good burgers an large buns. Chips not very hot tho. Quite fast service. Lots of salad. Polite delivery person.
