Car broke down nearby, and while waiting for the repair we ate here. Food was delicious, tasted like Mom's cooking. The two women working were kind, the price reasonable, And I'd come back to eat here often if I didn't live 5 1/2 hours away. Good stuff

We love stopping here on our way out of Vermont when we head out for vacations. The food is great and the service is even better. Julie is amazing. She is our waitress every time we come here. Always looking forward to come back on our next trip.

Delicious food, we had the poutine. Such great service and a really cool place inside, it’s got that diner style which is really popular in media. Definitely stop by, I recommend it to anyone!!!

I've always wanted to try poutine and finally got to at the Halfway House! It was delicious! The pie crust was especially delicious as well. Great local diner!

Quality food and quaint atmosphere. Plenty of room to park our RV and sit out with the dogs while we ate. Cora, the owner, is a kind and lovely woman.
