Halfway House Cafe

What a great roadside cafe! We were unfortunate enough to arrive when they were having propane issues, so their menu was very limited, but they made the best of it. Guess that just means that we will need to stop by again next time we are in the area.

Ordered the eggs Benedict, no flavor at all and there was bacon in it? Also never had a mimosa with ice tasted like orange soda. The place itself is nice but and friendly. I think it's for the location not the food.

Our go to breakfast spot. Family favorite all around. Recommend going very early, because they always have a full house. Great food and great atmosphere, wonderful service that makes you feel right at home.

Our waitress was so nice on 10/23/2023 2:15 pm. She was so busy but managed to keep everyone happy. That girl deserves a raise

Was expecting some atmosphere, considering the historical nature of the place, but was very bland and bare-bones.
