Let's start with the positives: this place has a very nice location, beautiful view, and decor. However, that's where the positives end. The hostess was extremely rude, never smiled, didn't greet us or give us menus. Overall, there was a strong sense of disregard from her. The service was very slow. Strangely, the waiter took orders from two other tables that arrived after us before taking ours. Also, it took them about 25 minutes to bring us our food. BUT THE WORST PART is that my friend found a hair in her burger ?. When we told the waiter, he brought her another one, which she didn't even finish. My salad was disappointing: barely any greens, hardly any chicken not satisfying at all. We w...
Guests at the hotel and had family join us for breakfast on the last day. Lovely space. Bright, airy, cheerful. Our party included a toddler and an infant and staff bent over backwards to accommodate the little ones. Scrambled eggs were plentiful and accompanied by a large amount of pan fried tomatoes as well as outstanding sausage. I was pleasantly surprised to see that bagels could be ordered as the bread accompaniment to the eggs. Others in the party had bagel plates with smoked salmon. The wee one enjoyed her fruit and bacon. It’s a lovely spot with gracious, professional service! Kid-friendliness: Very accommodating. High chairs and boosters available. Strollers are welcome.
My husband I had an early Valentine's Dinner here this evening. First and foremost; not only is the service and staff amazing, they're also friendly which made for a pleasant experience. (Mackenzie, Terrance Cornell assisted us) The staff was diligently cleaning and sanitizing between parties. We both had cocktails that we enjoyed. If you're into cold Seafood the Seafood Tower was the way to go. And to top it off, the views ain't so bad either Thank you for the experience.
Great view nice atmosphere. God awful food. Whoever is in charge of that kitchen should be axed. What a shame. We were served a fruit platter that had fruit from 1986 and an egg frittata that was full of sour eggs and aged rock hard potatoes. On top of all of that my family all got diarrhea after eating there. Barely ate anything and sent most back. Was going to go to sushi by bou in the hotel too but now… no thanks. If I could give this place zero I would. Total failure.
I liked the Quality, flavor and presentation. I was a little skeptical because it looks like it belongs to a hotel and usually its never the best choice, but this restaurant delivered their quality. Its very clean, modern and the service was impecable. You will love the view and located in a beautiful place. The price was right and the portion was perfect. I would def recommend it to friends and family. Great job.
Great food and services. I usually have not had much luck with hotel restaurants but Halifax proved me wrong. Highly recommended dishes are the lobster rigatoni, seafood cavatelli and the roasted squash. For desserts, the apple fritters and ginger cheesecake were absolutely delicious: not too heavy yet very flavourful. Food came very quickly and service was attentive.
Terrible horrible experience. Once we told the waiter we wouldn’t be drinking, the service became the worst. He only came to us once in an hour timeframe. We had to wave down other people to place more orders. We also told them no bacon and had bacon on two of our dishes. The food was mediocre and definitely not worth the price tag. Unacceptable service.
Had my mothers bday celebration there. Food is absolutely tasteless, both smoke chicken and rigatoni, , charging $7 for bread. Waiters dont know what they are doing, no noise suppressant in the place. Never again I go there, there are a lot of other places in Hoboken to go.
actually attended a wedding for 150 people , bar is next to two hosting areas and food was passed as well as buffeted with above average fair shrimp sliders etc.. .bar selection was slightly above average and hand poured. pleasant atmosphere and neutral tasteful decor.
