Very disappointed! These pictures only count for a small portion of my disappointment from spending $65 on this mess. The food was absolutely gross. Not sure if maybe it was just an off day today but yuck! I ordered the fish dinner as well as the 3meat dinner. Nothing had any flavor. The fish seemed as though it was fried in old oil. The crust was hard and not attached to the fish itself. The pulled pork was not cooked thoroughly neither were the baby back ribs. As you can see in the pictures the mashed potatoes were boxed and basically watered down. The cornbread was burnt (taste and smell) It crumbled to the touch. If you are looking for an authentic southern BBQ then look no further. Hambone's cooks their brisket perfectly, they use top quality beef cuts so they start off right with the best ingredients. The brisket is cooked/smoked for 12 hours and is absolutely delicious with a good bark on it. Don't look any further if you want the best brisket around. Their pulled pork is amazing as well. They make their own sauces and they are spot on for flavor and texture. Overall, their food meets or beats your southern BBQ desires. Took my mother there because she was craving barbecue and we were pleasantly surprised visiting this place for the first time. It's a little hidden but it's nice clean spot. Great food, servers were very friendly. Service was great food got out quick. Looking forward to trying this place again, so far baby back ribs are on point with a great spicy barbecue sauce.
Rib tips were a 6.5/10, a little dry, very smokey flavor. The bbq sauces were great. Greens were 3/10 super watery, not seasoned at all. I couldnt eat them. Candied yams were more like fried sweet potatoes. Tasty but not what I wa expecting. 7/10 2 Ribs and Fries Kids Menu Were great, love the thick cut steak fries and a great price point at $8.
8/8/2022 @6:00 DoorDash p/u order. I ordered two #51; this is a 3 meat dinner. My order was Brisket, Tri Tip and Rips. Brisket was all fat, Tri Tip was on point and my one rib was great! My two sides were Collard Greens and Beans. My greens were good until I came to a mental strain. The food was cool. I wish I enjoyed this Brisket man!
Food is great. You are not allowed to dine in, but takeout. Call ahead. It's a 45min wait. Other than that fantastic food. I got sweet tea was good. BBQ sauce has a good kick to it. We ate right outside in the back there was public seating available, but not a lot of it.
