We had a wonderful dinner at Hamrock’s on Saturday night! Great service! The apps were spot on. Calamari was perfectly cooked. The avocado bruschetta and Brussel sprouts excellent. The main courses were nice sized portions and very tasty. Rock fish and ribeye. We had several great priced bottles of Pinot noir! They have a great porch area as well for when the weather warms up. The owner chef even came out to greet us and chat for a bit. We will most certainly be back!
I had a reservation for the porch and when we arrived there were no porch tables. The patio had a lot of bugs and inside was too congested. We waited for a porch table and then they put us right next to the A/C in the back of the house not what we had in mind. Please keep tables reserved for those who reserved them! Good was ok and service was mediocre. I had been there before and loved it, so was very disappointed.
Our server Katherine, was simply wonderful and the food was all delicious! The Honey glazed cauliflower appetizer and caprese salad were both magnificent and the NY steaks done to perfection, one medium and one medium rare! Deserts were awesome… Lemoncello cake and chocolate ganache cake!! And the deserts were served with a delightful glass of Birthday sparkling rose! Thank you for a lovely evening
Definitely in my top 10 Virginia restaurants! Celebrated my husbands 50th Birthday here this past weekend. Food was amazing and the server was very attentive. I loved the atmosphere. I encourage you to try the Saffron Vegetable Risotto when you dine with Hamrock’s. We will be returning soon. Réservez une table maintenant
Food was average. Location is on a busy intersection. Service was slow. They almost forgot our dessert. Took a while to pay our bills. They kept us waiting fo a while. Because of that we forgot our takeout food.:
Hamrock’s is a go to spot for people who want great food and nice atmosphere. Dine inside or out. Usually there once a week and the Sunday specials are great. Hard to beat. Staff is first rate.
Hamrocks is one of the better restaurants in the Fairfax area we like to go to. We like the outdoor seating on the large front porch when the weather is nice.
There were so many good dishes offered on the menu, it was difficult to choose. But we will definitely go back and have other choices.  Réservez une table maintenant
Food was great. Our server was excellent! Loved sitting on the porch. I’d recommend the deviled eggs for an appetizer.

"My partner and I met up with my sister here for brunch/lunch and it was great! We came in on a Sunday around 10:30am and we were seated right away. The waiter was super friendly and attentive. The food was delicious! Went later for some cheesecake slices.My only complaint is that the slices are nearly $10 each!! A little pricey, in my opinion, but nonetheless tasty!"
