Firstly I’d like to say how much Ubereats is like going on a “blind Tinder” date cause you’ve never seen or been to this place before (unless you have than your algood) and your basically entering a realm of the unknown. I’m definitely not one to use these apps but when you’re at home, had a bit to drink and can’t be bothered walking up the road in the rain it seems like the sensible thing to do – WHAT A LET DOWN! I should’ve walked that 8 min up the road to my local kebab shop and not taken such risk…. I don’t know who in their right mind would charge $15 for this lifeless sad little creation or think it’s even acceptable to let it leave the kitchen?!! I always try to see the positives i...

The service was friendly. We went with the deluxe mazza which is a banquet. There was plenty of food, too much for us to finish. The three dips (yoghurt, humous, baba ganosh) were quite good. The lady fingers could have been a bit crisp on the outside, n they were a bit too sour for my liking. The fried cauliflower and eggplant were ok, those the cauliflower had been refried but the texture (little bit chewy). Then we got the green beans and rice, nothing spectacular. They had these potato nuggets things that were nice, kind of like croquettes. But then the food stopped. What about the kennel, Lebanese sausages and chicken. We realised that the waiter had mistaken our order for the vegetaria...
I have been coming to this restaurant for the past six months and have never been disappointed. The food is excellent, and I always recommend it to my friends. The manager is friendly and welcoming, although the staff can sometimes be a bit slow to respond. However, the quality of the meal makes up for any delays. I suggest visiting with a larger group so you can try a variety of dishes. While the prices can feel a bit high for just two people (ordering hummus, a salad, and chicken/lamb), splitting the bill among a group of four or more makes this place a great budget-friendly option.
I had heard wonderful things about this restaurant and decided to book a private dining room for our group. The room was beautifully decorated with an Arabian theme, complete with flags, cushions, and a tented roof. The atmosphere was fantastic and the food was authentic and delicious. We enjoyed a non-stop feast of mezze plates and even had our own private belly dancer entertain us for 15 minutes. It was a lot of fun and I will definitely be returning again in the future. Hannibal is a beautifully decorated, cozy restaurant with very friendly service! The family recipes are divine and offer a wide range of striking flavours from the Middle East- this restaurant keeps me coming back to try everything on the menu! Hannibal's spectacular cushion rooms are perfect for group dinners and parties, offering a vibrant and enjoyable atmosphere. For a great night out with friends or family I would definitely recommend hannibal!
Hannibal Lebanese, located at the intersection of Elizabeth and Cleveland Streets in Surry Hills, offers delicious Lebanese cuisine at affordable prices with generous portions. This restaurant is well-known in the area and also offers value-packed banquet options. We tried a vegetarian platter and mixed grill, and left fully satisfied. It's a fantastic place to enjoy a budget-friendly Lebanese meal.
Second time at Hannibal's.... ... and we had a fantastic time once again: cushion room, belly dancer, very attentive and happy staff providing efficient and friendly service, tasty food AND plenty of it, too! Our overseas guests thoroughly enjoyed this experience. We will be back for sure.
Hannibal Lebanese Restaurant is fast becoming my favorite Lebanese joint in Surry Hills. Good food at good prices this place serves delicious Potato and Corriander (squarely cut like dices marinated in spices), Fried Cauliflower, Garlic Bread with Zatar amongst many others. "I was satisfied with the food. Burgers are between $14.90 and $15.90. The drinks are more expensive than other places, and the free Wi-Fi is slow and stops working intermittently."
