Hanzo Japanese Steakhouse

This place is very near from my apartment but I just happened to have gone there for the first time. It was also my first time trying Hibachi! The chef put on a great show and the food, the quantity was worth too. The place is a little high end because of the ambiance, the hibachi so it is a bit pricey but still worth it. I loved the chicken tempura sushi roll. I am gonna get more of these as they are cheap. I also got the in house sake which was quite strong.

In my updated review from winter 2022, I can confirm that Hanzo remains outstanding. They excel in both food quality and presentation. The lively atmosphere gives off a vibrant big city feel. The flavors are consistently fresh and well-prepared. The hibachi area is thoughtfully designed and usually quite busy. We always leave with enough leftovers for another meal! The bar scene is lively and enjoyable. Hanzo just keeps getting better with time!

I celebrated my birthday with a hibachi meal courtesy of some wonderful friends, and it certainly lived up to expectations. I went for the deluxe meal, which included filet, scallops, shrimp, and lobster. The dishes were expertly seasoned with just the right amount of sauces and flavors, making for an absolutely delicious experience. While the chef's entertainment was average, his cooking skills were outstanding. I highly recommend this place!

Armed with ZERO expectations, apart from having heard nothing but good things, completely rebuilt. The interior was beautiful. Hibachi area was spotless. People watching is on the point. We thought prices were reasonable even before we came to dinner, and we were absolutely not disappointed. The hibachi experience was much fun and the food was great! Each of us has two meals from our food. I didn't expect to enjoy myself so much. Réservez une table maintenant

The food was delicious the chef put on a great show! I like that they give you both rice and noodles or you can choose just rice or just noodles. I have a mushroom allergy so my food has to be cooked in the kitchen and our waiter was very on top of making sure my food came out around the same time the chef at our table was serving my friends. Its great that they take food allergies so seriously. Thank you!

The sushi we ordered didn't taste good. The shrimps in our vegetable porridge had no spices, the rice lacked salt. The desert barely tasted like everything. The other side of the restaurant was so loud that we couldn't hear about the table. And the prices are high for a restaurant serving food that tastes meh. The waitress was pretty brilliant.

We enjoyed all our meals. But it was unpleasant as our table had served from four of our meals in three waves. One, then after an uncomfortable gap 2, we had a gap next before our 4th got their meal. We hope this was a fuke. Great food yourself.

The sushi bar was fantastic, and the rolls were amazing. We celebrated our grandmother's 100th birthday here, and she absolutely loved it! She's 100 and still fabulous! Réservez une table maintenant
