Happy Garden Chinese Restaurant

There is little better on a cool winter's evening than to have your dinner served on a sizzling metal dish. We followed the chef's advice and selected the Mongolian lamb as well as the lamb fillet in black pepper sauce. This was an amazing choice washed down with St Hallet's Faith shiraz and your heart is warm, belly is full, and the taste sensation remains in your pallet.The restaurant always has tables available, service is quick and parking readily available.

Took ages for the meal to arrive. The Mongolian beef was delicious, but I had to ask for rice (the waiter didn't ask when we ordered). The dim sims were dry, horrible in fact. I was told they were a popular dish - had to ask for soy sauce. Only ate half of one dim sim, told the waiter, still he made up pay for them. Not happy! The decor is out of date, but if you like plastic flowers then you'll love it. I won't go back again.

Aplenty of choices and food is exceptional, will be back, one of he best Asian food shop outside Asia. Clean neat and tidy. Nice people and friendly. Well take the extended family back there one day

Sadly the dim sims were luncheon meat, two mains were cold, one wasn't what we ordered oh and they charged us corkage on a bottle we brought from them! Sham

A waste of ingredients and $. Typical slimy boring Chinese food. Bad. I suspect they used MSG but it didn't help the flavour.
