The hotel, breakfast, and room were not great, but the cleanliness was lacking. The bathroom had a mediocre shower with fluctuating water temperature. The shower seal came off when we opened the door, and the toilet seat wouldn't stay up. The breakfast options were all savory, with no sweet options available. French toast was expected, but we received greasy sandwiches with bacon and maple syrup instead. The coffee was also disappointing. The only positive aspect was the seaside location. I would recommend looking for other options if possible.
Service from staff/owner was warm and welcoming. They accomodated our breakfast to fit early leave, thank you! Shower temperature was inconsistent. The mattresses are old and need changing. We waited a long time for a table to find the one vegan option on the menu (cauliflower steak) was underwhelming and the cocktails were watery and disappointing too. Wouldn't go back!
Please verify your bill before leaving the restaurant. The food and drinks were good, the service was exceptional, and the location and hotel views were both top-notch.
