Alma is usually quite busy in the summer and the tourist invade the park as well as the village for food and provisions. For the most part everything is found here and tou don't feel like they are abusing when it comes to prices. The restaurant offers good friendly service, is young kid friendly and is popular with the locals(that says a lot) we went there this time for breakfast and all the food was excellent and the portions where generous. Our waiter was efficient and patient with the young ones. And here again the price did not seem to make you feel like taken advantage of, not cheap but fair. Drop by on your way to the park for provision or some good food, you wont be disappointed.
We stopped here for breakfast on our way out of town, and while the options were limited, the food was good. We ordered the loaded omelette and the lobster omelette, and let me tell you, the lobster omelette was quite tasty. It had large chunks of lobster meat, and while it was slightly overcooked, it was enjoyable nonetheless. Never-ending coffee is always appreciated, and the staff was friendly.
Have had a lot of chowders....Thruout theMaritimes....This is excellent..By far..the best...Yes, the interior is old and dark!...Itsabout. The Chowder!!......2 locals told me..to go here!!..They were right!!..A must do!!..Did not have anything else..so cannot comment!!But there were another 3 homeade soups available too!!Give it a try!!?.Dont let the appearance fool you!..Its all home cooked!!
