As a truck driver, I often find myself stopping at fast food places during my travels, and I can usually expect poor service and mediocre food. However, I was happily surprised by my experience at this Hardee's. The two women working there were fantastic. Their service felt genuine, and they greeted me with smiles as they went about their tasks. I waited at the counter for at least five minutes before anyone acknowledged me, despite trying to get their attention multiple times. It felt like they didn't even care that I was there. Once we placed our order, it felt more like I was in a sit-down restaurant than a fast-food place; the service took forever. To top it off, the person at the counter attempted to hand off a side order through the drive-thru window. It's no wonder Hardee's locations are closing—this kind of service is unacceptable!
