I stayed here on business for 2 nights due to convenience of location and previous good experiences at this hotel. Yes , it's an older accomodation but it is clean , tidy and convenient. The service was excellent. The food was delicious , home cook style and prices very reasonable. My compliments go to the servers and management for their friendliness , courtesy and efficiency.I'd recommend it to anyone.

Everything we ordered (chowder, cod tongues, fried cod, and accompaniments) was excellent, service was very friendly, and prices were very reasonable. Much better than an average hotel restaurant ; this restaurant obviously takes pride in serving fresh local cuisine in a friendly environment.

We stopped here for lunch one day and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their very filling meals. The cheese burger with a side of fries, dressing, and gravy was wonderful. A great lunch spot!

My husband's pan-fried cod was delicious. I had grilled scallops that were also very good and tender. Meals came with mixed veggies ans choice of fried, bakes or mashed potatoes.

This hotel is very outdated. Carpet in rooms smell and should be removed. Had several rooms rented for a wedding and the carpet was the same in them all. Rooms very small too.
