I order online 4wing dinner when I got home my whole order was messed up I can’t eat lemon pepper my wings was only supposed to be mild sauce only my wings have lemon and I don’t get no fry’s with my dinner. I call up there and the girl who answered the told me the man in the front who gave me my food supposed to tell me it no fry. I was told to come back in a hour for just fry’s I live 25 minutes away so I ask can I have my money back I told the girl I will bring back the wings.she told me no refund that she can just gave me fry’s I am allergic to lemon when I ask to speak with a manager she told me that it was no manager there today and then she hang up on me. I went to this location on the 4th of July because the location I normally go to was closed. I placed an order over the phone. The lady who took the order told me it was going to be 20 minutes then change it to 45 minutes. I came to pick up my order in an hour expecting my food to be ready. It wasn't ready. Then I was told 10 minutes. I continued to wait then was told an additional 10 minutes. It took 2 hours to finally get my order. Then had the nerves to get my order wrong. I was short on an order of chicken. I eventually got my missing chicken. I watched as other customers complained about their wait time. Overall I did not have a good experience. I ordered food online, picked it up, and when I got home, I discovered that none of my three orders included cole slaw, despite requesting it, and all of them came with fries even though I asked for no fries. I called the restaurant, and the young woman on the phone informed me that they were out of cole slaw and that they don't offer substitutes. They should have updated their website to inform customers of the cole slaw shortage. If I had ordered a half-pint or pint of cole slaw, I wonder if I would have received a refund? My family and I have been loyal customers for years, but after this experience, I won't be returning.
The establishment itself was nice. The staff lied and said food would be ready in 25 mins after i paid. Had I known before I would have passed. We ended up waiting an hour and twenty five mins.Thw clerk said there was a huge order they were working on so they knew it would be way longer. While I waited, one of the staff members were eating chicken while 11 people were still waiting on their order. The staff were also very high. The chicken was very over cooked. There was no seasoning on it. The fries had no salt. The hot sauce was ok. This place came highly recommended. Honestly not worth the hype.

Just ate my food and this chicken was so old all 3 orders I ordered I don’t know if they fried the food in old grease or just old chicken sitting out and got redropped. The fries even hard and old won’t be back I see why they only got a 2.5 rating. I ordered 3 4 wing dinners and they all had 6 wings in it and that’s for the chicken being old they trying to get rid of it. So disgusted! I’ll stick to south holland Harold’s.
Harold’s Chicken in Homewood Il has been very consistent with the Chicken. But today 5/14/2024 they lost that title. I ordered a 6 piece wing . Half old and Half fresh 3 big wings and 3 old little wings. I like the location. Maybe they have new crew . They don’t represent this area well. Don’t out slick a good customer.
I ordered catfish and shrimp off grub hub and 11:48 and the driver waited so long they left the food there. I ordered again At 1 for a catfish steak and wings I have gotten my old order that’s been sitting for 2 hours
I ordered 10 wings today at 1:30 for delivery through Uber Eats. The food arrived piping hot and was cooked to perfection! The seasoning was spot on! A big shoutout to the chefs working right now! Delicious!
