We visited this restaurant last year for our anniversary while in Newcastle from Glasgow and loved it, so we decided to come back again this year to celebrate. However, the service this time was a disappointment compared to the last visit. We were seated at a table for four instead of two, and it took some time before the extra cutlery and glasses were removed. First time for us. Walked in lovely inside well decorated and clean. We dined in the restaurant part. Food was nice well presented but the waitress we had who i believe was management was quite abrupt when we were ordering rushing us to order food. We had just sat down hadn’t even ordered a drink. Having visited here a couple of years ago, we thought we'd pop in for a cocktail or two before we embarked on even more retail therapy.....and it was just as nice as we remembered it.Being lunchtime the place wasn't heaving and we were able to get a table easily enough. Drinks were ordered at the bar and delivered to our table. We booked here for a pre-theatre meal and had stated this.Our welcome was okay and drinks order quickly taken, but after that the service was slow. We had to request a vegan menu, and the choices for vegetarians and vegans was uninspiring. I opted for a Burrata salad. Our order was taken over minutes after we arrived, despite us being ready for over minutes and several other tables arrived after us, ordered and were served. I was then informed they were out of Burrata. It was substituted with mozzarella but this wasn’t reflected in the bill. We had a fantastic evening at this restaurant. The food was delicious, the drinks were great, and the service was friendly despite the busy atmosphere. I read some negative reviews on TripAdvisor, but I believe they are unfair. The size of the venue and the level of service provided were impressive. I believe the negative reviewers are being unreasonable. Overall, we had a wonderful evening and I thank the restaurant for a great experience.
Visited for lunch with family. All food and drink was superb and staff were attentive. There was an issue with the bill which I only noticed after I had left. A genuine mistake which was immediately corrected and I have to say was dealt with in an extremely efficient and customer focussed way and was the best customer service I have seen for a long while. Will certainly return and recommend to friends.
Popped in for drinks post theatre. Ordered 2 cocktails, when they were poured one glass had considerably less than the other. When this was pointed out the bar man said well you got more in the other glass ! Hmm doesn 't really help when they are for different people? Proceeded to make another cocktail...no customer service whatsoever. Very disappointed, won 't rush back.
Great experience here today! Unreal food (little issue with the beef which was resolved instantly)! Service from Dana was unreal, cocktails to die for will deffo be back x

The service at this restaurant is exceptional, with a friendly and enthusiastic staff. I would highly recommend it, especially for their delicious margaritas.
