Took over a previous Japanese restaurant in the city. We usually would order the take out combination dinners which were good and affordable), but went recently to sit down and try an omakase. There are several different types and opted for the mid level $60ish). We also ordered a few rolls to try Dragon and spider). Rolls were good, but was hoping this would have arrived after the omakase because I could barely finish. There were 12 pieces of sushi nicely presented in a dish, a hand crab roll, and fried shrimp head. Sushi was good, though I forgot what half the fish were. An empty stomach and a full up parking lot across the street led me to Haruka, which had an open spot right outside the door, just about a month ago I've been here twice more since after long days at work. The staff is so warm and welcoming; the food is fresh and delicious, as well as beautifully presented; the physical space is comfortable and stylish without feeling pretentious. I come in hungry and leave happy. I'm not a sushi fan, but am always looking for good teriyaki I switch back and forth between chicken and salmon for the tempura combo. Tonight I started with the fried beef gyoza...delicious and such a nice contrast of textures between inside and out.
Hands down my favorite sushi place! The seafood was fresh and everything we ordered was awesome. To top it off, the service was phenomenal. Everyone was courteous and was quick to help answer all of our questions. We even tried a few new things with the help of their team. It was a fun experience to try something new and it tasted great.

Chef Nathan takes you to an epic sushi experience! With an incredible thoughtful presentation of fresh and delightful selections of fish. Textures and flavors were extremely well balanced . The service is outstanding and friendly.
Wow! The fish is sooo fresh and delicious. Service was out of this world. They've been open for two years and we didn't know about them. Our new favorite place.

Terrible service and they scammed me on an inari roll that I payed 15 dollars for and they only gave me the outside skin
