In short we had a bed. It was cold, a window was left open behind curtains, we couldn't see it and didn't notice until the next day, but in winter? Our fault I guess. One electric blanket did not work either, the bed sheets I think Noah wanted back for the Arc, mind you they were that thin that he might send em back too. Then My worst nightmare, there was a black head hair in the bed when I pulled the sheets back .........I would suggest to management that the bin in the room be emptied between guests too.Ahh yes, after lovely time in west coast of tassie, a spa bath would be lovely! Nup. Water luke warm, and after waiting a while for bath to fill, despite being proudly shown the spa bath, i...

This review is about our experience at the Hatcher's Manor Restaurant. While we are reluctant to give a family business a poor review, there is a resonsibility to reccommend that you don't spend your hard earned money at the restaurant. We arrived to an empty restaurant and ordered drinks. The beer was warm due to the fridge not being turned on. Our Coke and Sprite tasted like Draino. When we spoke to the grumpy manager he tasted it and said it was fine only later to say it was a "diet" drink. (He didn't charge us for the drinks) I started getting nervous. Then one of the workers goes behind the bar and gets a fresh can of Sprite for himself but we were stuck with budget brand flat stuff. We...
The rooms are twee, overly furnished and muticoloured - something out of the old country in the 19th century. We had breakfast the following morning in the dining room and my bacon (served in a lot of small pieces, not rashes) had a most unusual smell. My wife believed it was off and another of our companions was equally dubious and didn't eat hers either.. When the owner came to collect the plates, I explained why I hadn't eaten it. He leaned over, picked up a piece (with his fingers) and ate it, then proceeded to tell me that it was 'beautiful' and that it had been taken from a fresh pack that morning. Never again!
Visit was for small wedding reception in restaurant. Stayed 2 nights. Bed very hard. Need a degree to operate shower. I failed, not being able to produce cold water. Dust and cobwebs around the room. The cleaner even left us a bag of tea towels for some reason. More likely forgot them. The restaurant was a shambles. Wine and beer warm. Soft drinks were home brand and tasted foul. Owner (woman) became stressed whenever there were more than 2 people at the bar. Steaks were well undercooked and salmon over cooked. Scallops ruined by the horrible sauce.Still the whole adventure provide humour at the wedding table. Réservez une table maintenant
We spent the night here and the rooms were very clean. The bedding was good and the room was warm, it did however require some repairs / updating. We also ate at the restaurant and the entree was great but we should have stopped there as the main was majorly disappointing.
Room was very comfortable with a lovely atmosphere. Dinner was outstanding with great service. Grounds and buildings are beautiful with a touch of old world charm and peace.
We stayed in a villa. It's spacious, clean, comfortable bed and somewhat odd. Good heating and cooling. We did not go to the restaurant. Nice rural setting.
lovely dining experience served by friendly staff good wholesome food cooked from homegrown ingredients including Apricot sauce made from their own orchard Réservez une table maintenant
Nice food in the hotel where we stayed. Everything - entre, vegetables, desert - good except the steak that was not lean.
Nice settings, good restaurant, rural but still close to town, large room, very friendly owners. Nice apricot farm.
