I would eat there all the time if it wasnt too far and opened only short hours. They have regional dishes but also things like mexican, asian, fusion dishes. No fuss, just yummy. I always have to control myself not just to gobble everything up. BEWARE their kitchen opens from 12~15:00 AND often times the lunch menu is already gone by 14:00, because it is just THAT yummy. Due to the fact that it's only open for lunch and not really close to anywhere I usually go to, I haven't been there as often as I would have wanted to. If you need a place that's open for dinner, go to Kombüse, the sister restaurant in Mannheim. However, if you have time during Hausboot's opening hours, definitely go there!
