Hard to beat in fact, unbeatable, if you are looking for excellently prepared food by one of Fairfax's greatest chefs Alex; and if you are looking for a place to feel like you've come home Ida welcomes most patrons by name, the wait staff often know what you want or need before asking; and it is a place to take friends who find the rest of their life not restful, fun or delicious enough. Simply outstanding and in nice weather, a wonderful hidden outside dining experience. GO! and you will go again, and next time you will take a friend.
Cozy eatery in the middle of the busier part of Fairfax. On a Sunday evening, we were able to walk in and have a seat where we wanted. The service was generous and the entrees for the adults were sufficient. I was forewarned that a calzone would take 20 minutes, which was longer than the wait time for the Gyro Platter and Kid Meals. Time went by quickly as I played games with the family and sipped an adult beverage. A lot of different options. Looking forward to going back to
Quick service with perfectly seasoned Italian and Greek food. Our lasagna plate was fresh with a nice balance of sauce to pasta. The giros platters had very hot fries or Greek salad, both delicious. The place has a very home cooked feel with friendly services. The only tough part is the parking not their fault.
If you live in the Fairfax, VA area you need to visit Ida at Haveabite! It is not just the great food it is the awesome incredible atmosphere and the old world European service. Go, relax...have extra glass of wine.
