My group came to this restaurant to celebrate a Bachelorette party. We had made a reservation in advance and our table was ready when we arrived. The menu had a lot of great options and everyone in our group was happy with their orders. We all enjoyed our cocktails and mocktails, which were delicious. For dessert, we had a fantastic ending to our meal. I am deducting one star for the long wait for our food. It seemed like every table around us received their food before we did. The waiter kept apologizing for the delay, which indicated that something was not right. Despite the wait for our party of 7, we would still consider returning in the future.
The food at the restaurant was delicious, despite the waiter Danny trying to spoil our evening. He deliberately got our order wrong but we decided to just eat it instead of sending it back. My wife was upset because he kept staring at her in a way that made her feel uncomfortable due to her outfit. It would have been better if he had been more professional or if we could have requested a different server. When we raised our concerns with the manager Jay, his response was so shocking that I am unable to even describe it in this review. Overall, it was a very unprofessional and disappointing experience on a Friday night.
I would not recommend this restaurant. Although the views are nice, they can be easily found at other restaurants along the Hudson River in New Jersey. The food was mediocre, the service was poor, and the management was terrible. I was shocked by the hidden credit card processing fee, as I have never encountered one at any other establishment in New Jersey. I will not be returning and do not recommend this restaurant. The management was extremely disappointing.
Horribly dissapointed in the bar area, and service overall. Stopped by had a drink that was made incorrect but it was okay, she retried it and almost had it correct the second time( at least free drink). The food was bland, and servers don’t even try to help us with anything. Do not recommend haven anymore, after reading the comments I can see there’s tons of people who have same issue. Haven, what a story for a Friday night, not the slightest bit in a good way. What happen to the excellent customer service the workers use to provide, now all the workers and bartenders are just miserable or partying with their friends. No time for random or non regular customers, huge no thanks for next time. And when the manager Jay finally try’s to help the situation he completely made it worse
Went here for our farewell dinner. Being our last meal in the US, with great service especially from Danny, made this dining experience complete for us. Tasted the calamari, roast duck, sea bass, dessert tester. Simply delicious! I 've also been constantly admiring the atmosphere and the music they 've been playing the whole night. Fits with the vibe 'Haven '. Highly recommended!
