I've had better in Hawai'i where I lived They give you Japanese soy sauce for take out which is nice.The current special, Crazy Salmon Roll is delicious, salmon melts in your mouth, no need for soy sauce here! The shrimp tempura roll was also fresh, but tasteless. A little seasoning in the tempura batter will help bring out the flavor. Why don’t a “loyal customer” give the feedback face to face instead of negative feedback on social media? We have a few great loyal customers saw the whole situation; these loyal customers know it just a small 100% takeout Poke. A small takeout can’t afford any servers or busboys to clean up your mess (left surrounding). We thought the napkins in your hand were not enough, so we handed more paper towels. I was overjoyed when I opened the bag and saw all the delicious food! I ordered on doordash! I’ve never tried Spam Musubi before, and it is now my top pregnancy craving! I like how with the Teriyaki Chicken bento box, you add the sauce yourself! The white rice was amazing. My husband loved eating my California roll that comes on the side with the bento box. I havent tried the Kani Salad, though I did notice there was only a tablespoon of crab in the huge salad. Wish there was more but thats just my personal preference! Everything was packaged perfectly! Poke bowls are amazing. That's what i go for every time. Good size portion with fresh fish along with delicious add ons. I could honestly eat that every day. Friendly staff. The place has been a tad messy towards the back, ever since i started visiting, but i just go there for a poke bowl.Food: 5/5
Great food awesome sushi but Hawaii grill lacks the feel of restaurant. This place is apparently a take out establishment with about five tables two for guests and three for the owners kids to sleep. Indeed the sushi was probably the best I've had but one really hopes for the sit down experience.
