Wow! Just great. Pork chop is juicy, great cream corn and while I'm not a fan of tomatoes in green beans, they're still good. Husband says their beans taste like peppered beef jerky, so they were good. And he enjoyed their sliced beef sandwich. Now if you happen to go on a day when they have honey Sriracha pork belly, BUY IT! I got two slices so the hubby and I could try it and it just melted in our mouths! It was pricey but worth the experience. Do not pass this place up! Also great hangover lunch since they serve beer and alcohol.
I have often seen this restaurant go from Austin and decided to try it. I came about an hour before graduation and they were just out of the brisket. I went ahead and ordered chickens and sausages that were both very cheap. I didn't try any pages this time. The sausage had a great taste and texture and the chicken was well seasoned and very moist. I would definitely order her again. The restaurant was clean, cool and comfortable.
Some of the best brisket I’ve had. Tender, moist, just the right amount of fat and a phenomenal bark. The sausage (regular and jalapeño) was delicious but a little more dense than I prefer. The mac cheese was on the spicy side which gave it a really great flavor. Coleslaw was excellent as well. All in all I wholeheartedly recommend this is a place to go for barbecue when you’re in San Marcos, Texas!
