Haywood Smokehouse

My family came in to town for vacation this week. Our first night in we had dinner here. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Food came out pretty quick. I had the brisket platter with burnt end baked beans and collards, my husband got the pork barbecue platter with collards and nana’s creamy coleslaw. Everything on my plate was great!! His was okay. The coleslaw says creamy right in the name, but it was just dry shredded cabbage. I would come back to visit again, but will not order coleslaw again.

First time visitor, wow!!!! We arrived for supper and was seated quickly, our server John was excellent. Food was out in less that 15 minutes! I got the smoked chicken with seasoned green beans. The chicken was perfectly smoked... seasoned to perfection. If your passing thru Franklin... Don’t miss this gem! It was also rib night... gonna have to try those next !

This was our first time there.. My wife got the Brisket, Collard Greens and Baked Beans and loved it.. I got the half Chicken with Fries and Baked Beans.. The Chicken had a Very Good Dry rub on it and the Breast was Surprisingly Juicy. For sure the best BBQ in Franklin.. Our service was Excellent. We will definitely make this our new BBQ Restaurant..

Wonderful service and the best ribs I have eaten in a long time! The potato salad does have a unique flavor, maybe dill, but it was tasty. My husband was happy they had a hot turkey club. My friend loved his meal, mine was good too! I was surprised that the dessert prices were so high! Looked really delicious but just could not pay 7.99 for a slice of pie! Will return tho, very nice place! Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I have been to Dilsboro and it his location several times. I prefer this location. The food is always very good! The Brisket and Mac and cheese are delicious. Also, thank you for offering smaller portions instead of calling them kids meals.

Really good beef brisket!!! The collards are amazing! My instructor had brought me here for lunch and it was amazing!! The service was nice. Next time, I'm there I'll get the 2 meat combo for sure and I'll bring friends.

Delicious! Loved every bite! Server are awesome. Unpretentious and seriously good food! Love the apple cobbler.
