We had such wonderful service from Ricardo and his wife. They went out of their way to make it a wonderful dining experience. Swift Current is so lucky to have a place like this. We had chicken barley soup that had such amazing flavours. Then we had BLT and sugar cured ham and cheese sandwiches made on homemade cheese buns. These sandwiches were absolutely outstanding. We then asked to sample the Caesar salad, WOW is all I can say. The homemade dressing is the best Caesar dressing I have ever tasted. I cannot wait to go back to Swift Current to enjoy more food from this gem of a restaurant.
We stopped by on our way through Swift. We had the special- a homemade ham with corn chowder and potato salad. The service was incredibly fast and the servers must've checked to make sure everything was ok at least 3-4 times. Everything it seems like is homemade, as the quality of food and ingredients used was reflective of the effort put in to make all things delicious. they really are extremely proud of their business which I love. Such an enjoyable little find :)
I was recommended by a business associate. I had the hot turkey and tomato basil soup. Everything is home made including the bread. The portions were vast, the taste and spices were really good. It came with cranberry and potatoes stuffing and a really good salad. I would eat here every day if I could as the meal are like what you would prepare for yourself but only much better! Very nice staff as well.
A group of us had lunch here and it was unanimously agreed that this was the best place we had eaten at in a long while.It is a quaint little place with a simple menu, but everything is home made including fresh baked bread. A fantastic breakfast and lunch establishment. Showcasing daily specials over and above their menu. Very clean restaurant that serves very quick, receiving our meals within minutes from ordering. Easily a favourite lunch spot for anyone working/visiting downtown Swift Current.
