The perfect hole in the wall place if you’re in the area. Dive bar atmosphere with plenty of options to eat and drink. The prime rib dinner on the weekends is out of this world. Probably the best I’ve ever had; cooked perfectly with seasoning that blew me away. The mashed potatoes and asparagus sides both were phenomenal. Friendly waitresses too. Great place to hang out. Food: 5
Food was great. I had a Utica club draft...which was served at 30 degrees. IOW perfect. We ate there at around 5 on a friday...lots of families with kids. Which was interesting given the colorful and loud political/current events debate at bar between two of the local gentry. I am not in the area much...but when I am I will stop at the hh. I can't emphasize enough how amazing this place is! I lived in the area for four years before I finally decided to try it, and after my first visit, we started going back every week just for the wings. Saddie is a fantastic bartender, the crowd is friendly and local, and the prime rib is incredible. Whenever I'm back east, I will definitely make a trip back here!
The service was slightly slow, but that was likely due to a large gathering in the restaurant. The food was average, but the atmosphere was lovely. The cost per person ranged from $20 to $30. Overall, I would rate the food a 4, the service a 4, and the atmosphere a 5. Réservez une table maintenant
If your a young adult traveling I don’t recommend this place. Walk in after a long day just wanting a bite to eat get ignored bartenders/waitresses saw me multiple times. Atmosphere was bad, felt uncomfortable just left after a while.
