Hearth - Réserver une table

We enjoyed our leisurely dinner at Hearth. Inventive and delicious approaches to classic prairie comfort food at reasonable prices for the quality. We had two small appetizers, two entrees, two small desserts, cocktails, and a bottle of wine for $180 (before tax and tip). Really loved the fun of the popcorn fries to start, the savoury and tender chicken in the chicken and dumplings (though found the corn/ gnocchi was a bit cloying), the short ribs and potatoes on the beef dish (though found the beef to be tough and lacking flavour in comparison). The drinks were good and that’s about it the blandest food I’ve had even Boston pizza would do a better job. Perogie appy just potatoes and sour cream with 4 sprigs of dill.. the stuffed pasta the flavour is maybe a touch of lemon.. and the beef dish was tough chewy and the potato’s were oily and old. The management did make things better tho with taking a large portion off the bill. Maybe an off day. Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

We have been to this restaurant quite a few times. We went frequently to the old location and then just recently to the new location. It took nearly 2 hours to get our food. It’s very unfortunate because it was one of our favourite places to go. Food: 5 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 5

Our first visit since the move to the Remai Modern. Underwhelming. The menu is much reduced, the beef, at $38, was tough. Where did the brisket go? Squash schnitzel was boring. Cocktail and wine list diminutive. Won't come back. Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4

Was lucky enough to attend a private function here hosted by family of the owners. The food was excellent, they have local craft beer on tap, and the atmosphere is really comfortable and relaxed. Looking forward to going back once they're fully up and running.

Truly tasty food made with love by some of Saskatoon’s greatest chefs, with a warm and friendly atmosphere great for a fancy date or a quick beer and bite after work. Definitely recommended.
