Helen Fitzgerald's Irish Grill Pub

through st. louis went this restaurant next to our hotel. we loved it! it was a busy Monday because of hockey, but the place was full and alive and still rocking along just well. the food was delicious, we had appetizers and we had escaped. the helpers were generous. our server valerie was super! the place (she was busy and she still managed to stay over everything we needed. definitely recommend this restaurant tourist through. the small home town feels like:

Service, atmosphere, cleanliness and price all solid 4 stars. However, the corned beef and cabbage barley rates a 3. I will give them another chance. But it was the most bland food I've eaten in a long time. The corned beef looked like it came straight out of a deli case, sliced for sandwiches and dropped in a pot of unseasoned boiling water. Cabbage and potatoes the same.

Well was going to go to Longhorn but 2hr wait. So they are next door and went to them one got seated right away, waitress came fast got us drinks. We got a appetizers of Toasted Ravioli. Which was good and she got a steak. And I got the Rueban a sandwich. Good service and food was good and portions worth the price.

I attended a Celebration of Life event in Helen's party room. The facility is fabulous and serving staff top notch. The food was well done and very little left. Recommend it highly.

Always a good time. We have been there for dinner and was good but we more often go later for the entertainment and dancing. Crowded but fun. Great bands.
