Hemsby Fish Chip Shop

We ordered two large portions of cod and chips and one regular portion of cod with chips. The food was freshly cooked but took a while to be served. I requested salt and vinegar on one portion, but it was barely added. The chips were decent, but the fish batter and fish itself were bland. The batter was greasy and the skin was left on, which I personally find unappetizing. The fish flakes were also small. At £32, the meal was overpriced and ultimately disappointing.

As usual, we were warmly welcomed at the restaurant and found the food to be excellent and reasonably priced. The service was prompt and attentive. We enjoyed a takeout dinner with a per person cost ranging from £1 to £10. The food, service, and atmosphere all received top ratings of 5. There was plenty of parking available with free parking in a nearby lot.

I come from Cambridgeshire and the best fish and chips iv had is barney's plaice well till I came here. Wow, cod was on par, not dry, and the curry sauce was perfect. Excellent quality and excellent value. 3rd of the price here, for the same order in Great Yarmouth that cost me over £50 for 3 people.
