I have visited this alm/restaurant on a few occasions with friends since it opened as we visit this area 3 or 4 times a year. The decor is lovely and a modern take on the alpine wood theme with modern quirky furniture and with great views out of the windows across the fabulous Austrian alps. The roof opens up to expose the sky. Fabulous on lovely sunny days. The staff however are hit and miss. Some times we have visited and the staff have been very helpful and friendly, other times like today they were very non plussed! We had lunch followed by coffee and I asked for my latte macchiato to be served very hot and if they could possibly warm the glass beforehand to aid this. When it arrived it...
Found this gem of a restaurant on our 3rd day and then went for lunch each of the following days. the days we ate the sun was out and the clouds were away, this made it ideal to sit on the outside viewing area. however if the weather is poor it could be a different story. on all the occasions i went i had the chicken with bread which was amazing, marinated in a dressing made it the perfect skiers lunch, i also had the ribs on top which was a large portion, enough to share they were great as well. the cost of the meal was less then i expected which was ideal. this restaurant was perfect and i highly recommend it.
A great place, fab atmosphere and terrific music with live DJ's and musicians. Food also reliably simple, but in a very appealing and tasty way. Perfect for the fantastic location.But.....The reservation system and organisation can be shambolic. We have made reservations days, and in one case weeks in advance, only to be disappointed when we arrive and find our table is not available. As always, the staff try hard to accommodate us, but it can take the edge off of an otherwise terrific experience.Be prepared to stand around waiting for your table!
I saw some places in the world with many big restaurants. But in this world of me comes the best steak you can eat from Mamathresl Leogang. Some of these restaurants I have visited all over the world have been strong for decades, but this is my favorite newcomer to the meat scene. Mom! Thresl serve an amazing fillet steak. This exceptional, melting steak, cooked over a grill, has incomparable sweetness and tenderness. The service in Mama Thresl is excellent, great people and the atmosphere you might want.

We were in the kitchen of Mama Thresl on a barbecue evening self service with everything you eat meat and pages for 25€ per person, drinks not included. The food was great, the atmosphere and the interior was stylish. The staff was very friendly and bilingual. Attention: The barbecue evenings are only on special days. Check the website before more information. You will also receive a reservation early!
Visiting on business. Food and atmosphere were wonderful. However bar staff really disappointed my. Arrogant and unhelpful! I thought it was towards me but most other males in the group felt the same. Despite the high quality of the food I would not recommend Mama Thresi’s.
The locals ask for food, they recommend this restaurant as the best and they have 100% right! Really good decoration and great food and service! I eat the best burger in my life! Prices are very good compared to quality and service!
The coolest restaurant on the mountain with well priced and fabulous menu rounder off with great service in a very modern setting with unbelievable views

Nice bar at the Little Asitz Summit, Good Cocktails, good prices. You can have it exclusive with a bottle of champagne or drink a beer only. Nice view.
This is a great restaurant. Best service, very good food and interesting desserts. Children's menu available. Good burgers.
