So good. A bit pricey, but...you get what you pay for.All the food is excellent, but items I would especially recommend:Paneer Korma (or any other Korma dishes, the sauce is perfect)Lamb VindalooNaanDahl MakhaniLamb Rogan JoshChicken MadrasOkra (several types)I and my family all love this restaurant and will be coming back. I like the Kingfisher Indian beer with the food, it 's a nice difference from 'regular ' American beer.One minor thing to watch out for is that the booths have wheels, so when you stand up...they can move sometimes.
I had lunch there today, which was our first visit, and we were completely disappointed. The chicken in the chicken tikka masala was tough and there wasn't enough sauce. The white rice that came with the dish was barely warm. We also ordered a medium spicy chicken biryani, but it was overwhelmingly spicy, even for our Indian taste buds. It felt like the food had been reheated rather than freshly prepared. We definitely won’t be returning. The prices are high, but the quality is lacking. I wouldn’t recommend dining here.
Came by today for lunch and was immediately seated. Ordered the Chicken Tikka Saag and Naan Bread. There were 4 or 5 levels or head, and so I decided to go with the American hot instead of the Indian hot. Let me tell you, it was HOT. Not extreme, but just right. Serving dive was also just right and server was attentive. Overall great experience at this establishment and would recommend to others. Just be cautious of you heat tolerance.
I got a stomach ache from eating their food. I do not recommend. I think they bulk make their curries ahead of time because the food did not seem fresh. I have never had a stomach ache from Indian food before. I am super disappointed by the quality. The inside of the Resturant is also super dingy. Do not recommend. There are other places better in town.
The people are awesome and the food is amazing!!! One of the best restaurants in Southerpines ! If you don't know what to order the chicken korma and the butter chicken are great. The peshwari naan is some of the best bread you will ever eat and it's the best dipped in the butter chicken.
July 4th dinner at Hennings. And, oh, boy were there fireworks! My husband and I both were incredibly sick through the night and through the next day. Be careful of the garlic chili shrimp. Love the staff and atmosphere. Eaten here many times and taken out many times and never an issue.
I was disappointed with the food at this restaurant. It was visually unappealing and lacked flavor, and it seemed very old. I urge all customers to consider their health, especially during these times of the coronavirus. Please take care of yourselves before placing an order.
