we would have read before what many commentators posted on tripadvisor to this restaurant, would have saved us a big and not cheap disappointment.The one belonging to menu du chateau was lukewarm, was served unwirrsch.The salat with foix gras was not at all, they had forgotten the dressing smoothly. the pizza was extremely small and minimalist. the salmon tartar was again as good as not at all and only cut into coarse pieces. the pommes were obviously baked out in lukewarm fat, not just a leak. the location in the center of foix at the foot of the castle is ideal and actually deserves a better kitchen.
Un dimanche soir à la foire, les autres restaurants étaient complets ou fermés, nous avons atterri là un peu perplexes. Sur le menu, peu de choix : 2 entrées, 2 plats et 2 desserts avec une flexibilité entrée/plat/dessert ou entrée/plat ou plat/dessert. Les deux plats nous convenaient, le boeuf était très bon tout comme le confit de canard. Mention spéciale pour les frites maison que nous avons dévorées. Les entrées et plats sont à base de produits frais. Le rapport qualité-prix est excellent : 15 euros pour plat/dessert, ajoutez 2 euros pour une entrée. Le service était agréable et assez rapide.

I ordered a salad of foie gras with dried magret thinking I'd enjoy. really poor in duck magret and I've never eaten fatty liver as bad. Salad sauce has no taste, mixed with oil and water and you will have the same result.As for the atmosphere, I think we fell a bad day, we were able to hear the staff fighting while we were on the terrace.Bref, the restaurant is well placed but if you want to eat well I advise you to go elsewhere.

La cuisine est d'une facture correcte, mais le service est complètement absent. Le comble est arrivé lorsque je me suis levé pour essayer de commander deux cafés (nous avions renoncé aux desserts). J'ai été totalement ignoré. J'ai fini par payer sans prendre de café. C'est dommage, l'endroit est assez joli avec une terrasse plutôt tranquille.
Très bonne glace au safran !! Très bonne cuisine ! Un très bon bar restaurant avec un chef qui aime cuisiner. Très bon service. On peut dire que ce restaurant est chaleureux.

I stopped by this café for a glass of wine and coffee. Good staff. The menus blues didn't attract attention.
