Three of us had Sunday lunch at Henry's. We arrived, and a friendly bloke showed us where we could sit, while another one poured us drinks and explained the wine. We sat in the sun under the veranda and waited for our food. My steak was brilliant, and was dressed with perfectly judged fries and a really interesting slaw that was lightly dressed. I was impressed that, rather than drown the whole event in sauce, they serve the sauce in a small jug so you can choose the amount and the destination. My wife enjoyed a salmon fillet that was, again perfectly cooked. My mother in law wolfed down a chicken curry. I'm always a bit sceptical about curries served at pubs or otherwise European cuisine ve...

Called in for a quick bite on our way through from Myrtleford to Rutherglen just to revisit Echuca after 27 years! Henry's is part of a major re-development of the old Echuca Port and it is indeed a fine renovation. It tuned out to be a really pleasant lunch with just some spicy chicken wings and a bowl of fries and a passing glass of shiraz - a Farmer and Scientist Shiraz from Heathcote VIC and a great wine. I was curious about the origin of the wine name but the waitress couldn't help. That aside the meal was perfect - just good quality basic but generous servings and tasty. We did notice some very presentable dishes going out to the tables which suggested this was a restaurant that knew w...

Went here with my family. Decor and location looked appealing and menu sounded good. I had the salmon with Asian noodle salad. It was tasteless, the fish wasn't cooked properly and the salad was more onion and garlic than anything else. Couldn't eat more than a few mouthfuls. Ordered two kids cheeseburgers and added vegetables for $2 each. The vegetables replace the chips, and are NOT added, so don't pay the extra cash. The cheeseburgers were soggy. The kids vegetables were Asian greens with oyster sauce... I have kids who are good at eating veggies but a pile of Bok Choy is a really tough ask....which meant I spent $4 to have them still hungry and not have any veg. We went to the Echuca hot...

This I was told is the oldest pub in Echuca and it had recently been renovated. It was cold and wet and we were ready for lunch. The young waiter come barman was a lovely young man telling us some of the history of the pub. My husband ordered the grub hamburger and asked why this delicious burger was given this name. The man said he was the son of the family who owned the pub and his dad wanted a food named after him. A bit of fun! And the burger was delicious. Only one minor complaint from my husband- too many yummy chips on the plate but of course he ate them all.My meal was an Asian pork burger with Asian slaw and it was the best I had tasted. A really delicious lunch. Réservez une table maintenant

It was a lovely day, weather sunny and about 19 degrees Celsius perfect for sitting in the courtyard for lunch at the Bridge hotel. The staff were friendly, there was ample choice of beers and cider on tap, the menu was classic pub. We shared the trio of dips and a a bowl of wedges, more than enough to satisfy those hunger cravings. Other meals coming to the tables looked well sized and plates were all going back empty. A very nice relaxing lunch in a great position with a wonderful atmosphere.

We stopped here for a cuppa and cake while walking along the Port of Echuca - $16 for small lukewarm coffees and we shared a lemon lime tart that certainly didn't taste like lemon or lime! Food and Coffee disappointing but the fire pits and outside settings in the sun were its saving grace - nice spot but needs to lift its game with food .

We recently ate lunch here as a family of 3, we all greatly enjoyed our meals, they were well sized and very tasty. We ate outside, enjoying the sun, a cold drink and the delicious meals. The food came in good time and all were piping hot. Overall we would recommend this place and would love to return ourselves.

We chose Henry's as part of our package deal (paddelsteamer ride, historic tour and lunch). I let the kids choose and we were not disappointed. The Thai beef salad was delish (the kids ate half of it after they finished their fish and chips) and the chardy was crisp. Great work. Réservez une table maintenant
