As someone from the East Coast who is accustomed to fresh seafood right from the ocean, I must say that Heritage is the best seafood restaurant I've found west of the Atlantic. The service here is consistently outstanding, the fish is incredibly fresh, and the portions are enormous! There are plenty of reasons why this restaurant has been thriving for so long. You definitely won't be disappointed, and chances are you'll end up taking some of your meal home because it's just too much to finish! The picture shows haddock with a half order of fries!
This restaurant features an older-style interior, creating a classic atmosphere. The food is outstanding, particularly the halibut, though it is somewhat pricey—similar to most fish and chips places. For the meal type, I opted for takeout for dinner, and the cost per person was around CA$20–30. I would rate the food a solid 5, the service a 4, and the atmosphere also a 4. I highly recommend the chips!
This place never lets me down! As the name suggests, Fish and Chips is where I go for a delicious fish and chips meal. Every visit offers the same great taste and quality. I also love their poutine, but I wish the fries in the poutine were a bit better. I always choose to dine in for a great experience!
