The Hermosa Beach Yacht Club (HBYC) is exactly what you should expect Hermosa Beach 's Yacht Club to be like considering Hermosa Beach doesn 't have a marina to be docking any Yachts. My kind of Yacht Club. The beer is wet. You can get it in a schooner or oversized goblet. The service could be a lot worse and the food is mostly edible. What more could you ask for? They even have an outside patio. Yup!!! Patio. No boats or water views here but plenty of fishy tall tales.
From the city. I just stopped on a Sunday night. Blond haired Victoria, the bartender, was really very professional, extremely cute and funny! She talked me and made my experience great. Next time I'm in town, I'll make HBYC a guaranteed return.

This is a fantastic spot with a wonderful atmosphere right by the beach. It’s always bustling, especially on weekends. The drinks are excellent and reasonably priced. The staff is attentive, friendly, and always ready to help. Great job!
This classic small diving bar, which is historical in its own way. Don't expect a lot of entertainment wise, but a good time. The bartenders are also funny and interactive.
The bartender was stunning, the beer was ice-cold, and I was able to catch the end of the Vikings game. What more could a guy want?
HBYC is as good as I remembered; Great burgers and homemade potato chips from real potatoes. This place hasn't changed in 20 years!

This charming neighborhood bar serves surprisingly excellent 1/2 lb Angus beef burgers and more. Absolutely worth a visit!
