Normally, I wouldn't expect a non-vegan establishment to have the best vegan food, but this donut was exceptional. During the holidays, they offered a vegan cake donut that was exceptionally large and satisfying. It reminded my spouse of a classic, old-fashioned donut with just the right amount of sugar and seasoning. The texture was perfect, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, topped with a refreshing cold icing. We were grateful to a member of the Birmingham vegan group for recommending this spot to us. The staff mentioned that outside of the holiday season, they offer a blueberry-flavored vegan option.
As a rule, I would not like to have a non-vegan dedicated locale as the best vegan anything, but this donut was tops. As a holiday that offered vegan doughnut was the Ingwerbread cake doughnut. That was a big donut I enjoyed long enough to feel like I ate TWO. It reminded my spouse of a traditional old-fashioned donut. There was the perfect amount of sugar and spices, crispy and soft, and an icy topping. Thanks to a member of the facility, Birmingham vegan group is based on this option for warning us. The staff said that in the non-Holiday season the offer is usually a blueberry-flavored doughnut.
I am really thankful that there is a donut shop in Birmingham that serves vegan donuts, but why do they only have one option? Places like Revolution Donuts in Atlanta offer 6-8 vegan options daily. However, the vegan donut they do have is actually quite good. It is usually a vegan blueberry cake donut, and unlike most vegan cake donuts I have tried, it has a great texture. It's not like a cupcake in the shape of a donut; it's kind of crispy and has a texture similar to a cinnamon sugar donut.
Cute and cozy place that I really enjoyed visiting! I?ve never been before, but I will definitely be returning. I got the half dozen donuts: glazed, chocolate, pistachio, Will?s favorite, strawberry, and bread pudding. The bread pudding was DENSE, but still really good! My all time favorite was the Will?s favorite. It had buttercream and fresh strawberries in between a cut glazed donut. The donuts here were the perfect cross between fluffy and cakey! Perfect for those who can?t decide on sweet or savory breakfast ? get the best brioche breakfast sandwich with BEC, then share a specialty donut with someone! Good amount of seating, great coffee, quick service. Cute takeout window for to-go orders outside too! Highly recommend the blueberry crumble donut and any BEC situation on the brioche. Hash browns are shareable and delicious too.
The doughnuts at this restaurant are packed with flavor and generously topped with interesting ingredients. They are a bit too sweet for my liking, but they are highly recommended by many people I know. I was close to giving them 3 stars, however, I was disappointed to find that all of the filled doughnuts were sold out by 1:30 pm on a Saturday.
This restaurant serves incredibly delicious, freshly made doughnuts along with a variety of other tasty treats. It is a homerun for the Homewood community! I ordered their regular set of doughnuts, known as the G.O.A.T.S on the menu, but asked for no strawberry flavor. The price was fair for the high quality of the items.
All the food there is straight fire! Burger, fire! Donut, fire! Super crunchedchicken sandwich, fire! These are most likely the best donuts in the universe but I haven?t been outside of the Milky Way Galaxy. Next time Elon, Bezos and I take a tour of space I?ll get back to y?all. I really enjoy their blueberry vegan donuts. While there aren't many vegan options on the menu, the few vegan donuts they offer are always delicious. I believe they have the blueberry cake flavor available all year round, with a seasonal flavor that changes every quarter.
