Heswall Kebab House

Visited on Saturday night after drinks in Heswall. Made order, told £11. Card machine was thrust in my face. I asked to see the amount on the screen before tapping my card and he didn’t like it. Told me to leave and asked why I don’t trust him?! Refused to take my order. A sign of guilt? I think so. As a customer, I think I’m well within my rights to make sure I’m being charged the correct amount. Wonder how many other people he’s tried to overcharge and got away with it…? I think my only error was catching him out. Never, ever again.

In 2020, I wrote a review for this restaurant expressing my dissatisfaction. The restaurant assured me that it was an isolated incident, so I decided to give their 10-piece chicken meal another try due to their delicious burgers. Unfortunately, this time the meal was even worse than before. The chicken was completely overcooked and the batter was as hard as nails. I am now contemplating taking legal action against the restaurant to get a refund.

I ordered 2 pizzas and 2 kebabs, with chips...was told the wait was going to be 30 to 45 minutes, on payment. After an hour and 10 minutes I rang and was told the food was on its way. It arrived 10 minutes later, cold!!! And NO chips. I rang to complain and was told "yes, you ordered chips, but we didn 't charge for them so didn 't sent. After my comsint they apologised and sent out chips that were binned in disgust.

have been a few times now and it seems average to bad, sometimes it is standard but I feel the last time was much lower standard, pretty sure the doner was different and tasted cheap, the guys seem ok but needs a little bit more with the food at that price Réservez une table maintenant

Truly terrible says it all really. All round awful. Don’t waste your money. Order wrong. Food rubbish. Better off seeking something from the drip trays from the nightclub next door.

The food is always delicious and delivered quickly, hot, and with a smile. The staff is friendly and the delivery drivers are always great. Nothing to complain about here!

The food and service at this restaurant are excellent! I highly recommend it. I had the mixed donner kebab and it was delicious. I plan to try the pizza deal next time.

Dreadful Salty Doner, cheap pitta VERY EXPENSIVE RUBBISH the driest, tasteless, kebab I’ve ever had trust me I’ve had more than a few!

Lovely friendly staff, delicious chicken kebabs with fresh salad and lovely side of garlic bread and a big portion too.
