I arrived on a Monday evening during dinner and had heard decent things about this restaurant. it was full, but it was only offered a place at the bar right next to the kitchen entrance. I understand if they are alone, it is not always easy or profitable for a restaurant, but I feel that the waiters have made a very effort to get me at the bar in a really bad position. they were so loud and distracting that I could hardly read the time. when the food came (rumpsteak and bratkartoffeln) I had to get a salt and pepper shaker myself, only to find out that they had given pfeffer in the salt shaker. it ruined eating. I would never go there again. too loud, miese love to detail, my eating was ruin...

Die rustikale Atmosphäre und die herzliche Begrüßung setzen den perfekten Rahmen für ein exquisites Essen. Das Personal ist äußerst aufmerksam und kenntnisreich. Mein Kellner war begeistert von den Gerichten und bot erstklassige Empfehlungen. Das Rumpsteak , das ich genoss, war schlichtweg perfekt zubereitet, saftig und von herausragender Qualität. we were here for the good reviews on tripadviser. the location is cool, no doubt. we had filetsteak and rumpsteak, both ordered medium. what we got was rather rare than medium. but the meat was good, that's not a big problem. both came with sauce (pfeffer and teufels9 and both tasted like a practical product. the same goth for salatdressing and the acidic saw that was delivered with the ofenkartoffel. I had the feeling that the chef was in love with a kind of spicy mix, and really overstretched it. the price was in order and the service was almost perfect. Réservez une table maintenant
Spontane Entscheidung ohne Tisch-Reservierung an einem frühen Samstag-Abend war kein Problem, denn das Service-Personal hatte zwei Plätze an der Theke für uns und so richtig voll wurde es erst ab ca. 19 Uhr. Sehr gemütliche und stilvolle Einrichtung, äusserst freundliche Bedienung, ausgezeichnete Steaks und Beilagen! Und das alles zu fairen Preisen. Zudem sehr zentrale Lage, prima erreichbar zu Fuss, Velo, Auto, ÖV. Barrierefreiheit ist allerdings nicht gegeben (Treppen/Stufen).
I've made a terrible experience here. the waiter was inexorable and refused to tell me something about the ****. he then decided to add our meal to extra dishes, and when I paid, he gave himself a generous drink without asking. I would never go there again and can't recommend it to anyone. also eating is not worth the money. this restaurant needs a retraining in the customer experience.
the waitress who serves us there does not speak English, so we can only communicate with my very bad German, but it is no problem at all and she is still very nice and patient. the steak I ordered is a little cooked and therefore a little too dry, but maybe it's because I ordered the wrong steak, as the steaks of my friends taste great. overall is good.
Exzellentes Essen und einen erstklassigen Service. Die Qualität der Steaks war hervorragend und das Personal war aufmerksam und freundlich.
