Been going to Hi 5 chicken for so many years. Would normally buy large amounts of food everytime. Previous owner and staff we wonderful. Absolutely wonderful customer service. New staff could answer basic questions like: 1. Has management changed? Ans: I don 't know 2. Is your chicken still halal? Ans: I wouldn 't have a clue. Staff staring at me blankly. 3. Can you please ask the manager? 1st male Staff asks a female staff. Ans: No. Female staff comments loud enough for me to hear chicken is just chicken . 4. I ask another male staff who their manager was. He did not know. 5.Had to point at female staff and ask is she your manager? Staff member taps female staff and asks are you the manager...
I've eaten here a handfull of times over the last 7 years and for the most part it's pretty hit or miss. And most of the time it's a miss. Between soggy chips and watery gravy I find myself picking up food elsewhere in the area. On the other hand the food is pretty cheap compared to other charcoal places, although most of the menu items are low in quality and made with very cheap ingredients. A lot of stuff is frozen including the nuggets. A lot of the staff are also very young people with little to no customer service. It didn't used to bother me but now it's just a drag to even order here. I hate to talk negative about local businesses but I just had to say me peace about it.
Typically, this restaurant is fantastic, but during my recent visit, things were quite disorganized. The food was served cold, and the dish I ordered was dry, as if it had been reheated. It wasn't due to a shortage of staff; there were plenty of people working that evening, including some regular employees who usually provide excellent service. Perhaps there were a few newcomers who were still getting the hang of things, and one staff member seemed to struggle with the order details and frequently needed clarification on the chicken orders. However, this kind of issue is rare for this establishment, which usually offers great food and service. It was just an off night.
To the new owners of HI 5 Chicken. What ever have you done to the dressing used on the seafood salad? It’s horrible, too creamy and it has certainly ruined this salad. Don’t change what was tasty in the first place and if you do, at least taste it yourselves before selling it. A very nice seafood salad has been ruined and anyone reading this review should avoid purchasing this salad Réservez une table maintenant
I placed an order on Menulog, but a part of it was missed during delivery. When I called the manager to explain the issue, she sincerely apologized and not only sent me the missing item, but also delivered my entire order again. Their service is incredibly generous and professional. The food is always delicious and served hot. I will definitely order from them again!
Hello, I visited Hallo 5 Chicken and it was clearly quite busy. When I went to buy chicken and chips, they had run out of chicken! As a result, I could only order a large portion of chips. This was around 6:15 PM, which I would expect to be peak time, but it seems they had already received a lot of phone orders, and most people had eaten early.
