Hi Tide Coffee Shop

Big breakfast, Small Bill. Hi Tide Coffee Shop is the place in Winthrop to get a rich, fast, tasty diner breakfast at Yesteryear prices. Nothing nice here at all American breakfast price: eggs, bacon, waffles, domestic frits, pancakes, waffles and diners (i.e. "weak" but good) coffee. Many locals, and the waiters call you 'hon. I wouldn't call it a destination restaurant, but if you're in the area, it's a WONDERFUL set.

I like this place because the food is extremely good, cheap and fast. Even when it's packed. The wait staff will tell yeah the specials for the day and can tell yeah where the stripers are running also. I always get the 2 large blueberry pancakes and wheat toast and it's 5 buck. I never have a problem finding parking either.

The best breakfast in the city. Positive, absolutely, the best breakfast in Winthrop. Small shop, but large in portions and atmosphere. The food is hot, tasty, fast and plentiful, and prepared just like days of Steve, the short order cook. You could wait the weekend, but it's worth waiting!

An Oasis. We drove through the Winthrop and wanted to see this coffee shop... we had no morning coffee. Not the conventional coffee shop, more a breakfast nook ... but charming, cozy, and occupied with friendly people. We'll be back soon.

We had such a great time here! We felt at home and the food was spectacular! Great food, great service!
