Best bento box I 've ever had! Every time I go to a Japanese restaurant and order bento box, they 're all mediocre with common menus i.e. teriyaki . But here, there 's a variety and the taste is above average as well. And lunch price makes it much moreworthwhile. We tried 'stir fried pork belly ' and 'fried panko crusted chicken thigh. ' The pork belly had a fire taste ?? andthe taste was well-balanced. Panko crusted chicken was juicy and the crust was crunchy. I definitely would return and lookforward to trying different menus.

Yum, a great place with authentic Japanese in the neighborhood. I love that they bring a sign around that has the specials of the day, which we normally order. All of their dons are delicious, and so are their sushi dishes. It's a small but cozyenvironment, and the food makes you feel welcomed. I love coming for dinner and ordering a sake to go with our meal andfinishing off with a dessert that they have available. It can get pretty busy during the peak hours/days, so I recommend goinga little off-peak to guarantee a spot.

The food is fresh, authentic, and absolutely delicious. We ordered a variety of sushi and a couple of salads, all of which were fantastic. The bento box stood out as the highlight of the meal, and I know I'll be ordering one on my next visit. With a diverse menu full of enticing options, there’s plenty to love, making it a solid reason to return. Although it's clearly a local favorite among those in the know, its proximity to the nearby 7 train station makes it an appealing alternative to restaurants in Manhattan.

I tried the chirashi, which featured a decent quality of fish, including salmon, yellowfin, scallop, shrimp, and roe. At $22, I appreciated the effort the chef put into this dish. Overall, I was pleased with my meal and really admired the authenticity of the restaurant. I'm looking forward to returning to try more dishes. However, one challenge is the seating arrangement and the limited space to place your bag, especially when wearing a winter jacket. Réservez une table maintenant

This is one of the best and most authentic Japanese restaurants I've ever experienced in NYC. The sushi is outstanding—better than many upscale sushi spots in Manhattan. The fish quality is incredibly fresh. The other dishes are excellent as well, reminiscent of the meals my mom prepares back home in Japan. The interior design is lovely, echoing the vibe of modern, trendy restaurants in Japan. I would definitely return; this place is truly amazing!

Awesome and well priced sushi and bento place in LIC, easily one of the best restaurants in the neighborhood! A hidden gem. Really excellent food, lovely service, and you can get two rolls with miso soup for $12 at lunch!
