Hideaway Steakhouse

I would have given much higher rating, but the price for my wife's dinner was too high. Granted, I didn't ask the waiter the price, since it was listed as market price, but a good waiter would have mentioned it when we ordered. I've called around to a few upscale restaurants to get a better idea of their prices for lobster tail dinners and how the wait staff handles this situation. They all said the price was double the going rate, and the wait staff will always tell the customer the price when ordering. The $200.00 for 2 lobster tails dinner was over the top, to say the least.

We were seated 30 min after our reservation time. It seems that there was some poor planning on how long folks were going to sit at their table. Our server was excellent! The food was great. Drinks were good but were a bit overpriced for what they were. Overall a good experience, but the value didn’t quite live up to the price tag. We may go back, but this is maybe a once a year visit.

I am always impressed by the attention to detail from the kitchen. Even the green beans are cooked to perfection. We love the atmosphere they have created of old fashion elegance. This has become our go to for special occasions. If you have not been to the Hideaway I think you owe it to yourself to check it out.

we came to dinner at 16:25 and sat quickly on our favourite table. the waitress was wonderful and took care of us all night. all the foods were presented, beautifully prepared and delicious.

Other than a little bit of a wait for a table, everything was fabulous!! Thank you Hideaway and crew!! Happy thanksgiving!
