A seriously good chippie!!! The fish and chips here are elite! Perfectly seasoned, not overly battered or oily. The chips were great, perfect size and cook. The service was friendly and attentive, they asked if our kids or us had any dietary restrictions, and genuinely interested in where we were from. Even thought about and provided us with enough cutlery seeing as we were eating in the park across the road. When you go in and ask for three large fish to be put in and you get the response “just a sec” then stand and watch people come in and get served for half an hour before the bloke says “must be your turn now” and the lass at the till says “I’ve only got two orders down”. This is a lovely fish and chip shop! I would have given it 5 stars, but I have to take away 1 star because they stopped making pizzas, which were actually better than the ones from other pizza places in Billingham. Overall, I'd rate the food as 4 stars, the service as 5 stars, and the atmosphere as 5 stars.
