High Street Fisheries

I would give this place zero stars if I could. I waited over 40 minutes for fish and chips and was the only customer in the restaurant at first. Eventually, a couple of other customers came in, and at least two of them received their food before I did. I ultimately decided to leave, and the man behind the counter didn’t apologize for the long wait or the poor service. He even argued about refunding my money since he had already cooked the food. It's clear he has no understanding of consumer rights, nor does he have any basic courtesy or sense of customer service. I don’t usually leave reviews, but this experience warranted one. I would not recommend this fish and chip shop to anyone.

Pleasant service. Some of the other patrons were drunk/high and a bit lairy but they were dealt with kindly and without trouble. Food was a bit over done for my taste. Nice to get scraps. Not overly greasy. Service: Take out Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £1–10 Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3

Fish n chips were vile, worst I've ever had! Threw most of them away. Whatever they were cooked in had a peculiar taste. Yuk! Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £10–20

When I got home and opened the box, it turned into a game of "Where's the fish?" I ended up spotting Wally before I even found the fish! Réservez une table maintenant
