The fish and chips has to be amongst the best I've ever had anywhere. The premises itself is mediocre, nothing fancy and the service is quite slow but pleasant. It was quiz night when we were there and we quite enjoyed the quiz and bingo etc. There was a good crowd there. If you want a bit of cheap entertainment without frills and top notch fish and chips I'd definitely recommend a visit to here.

Very busy but the steak was delicious as usual. Steak night on Tuesdays and Thursdays, booking is essential for these nights. A little gem of a bar with all sorts going on. A huge terraced area for dining or just drinks with seating under a covered area or inside. Well worth a visit.
