I stayed at this sweet and local café for breakfast and coffee on a weekday at 7:30. It wasn't busy at all. I ordered a latte and an avocado toast. Oddly the latte came in a glass cup without a handle that it was a bit difficult to drink, but it was good. The avocado toast was interesting, overall good, but not the best I had. They cover the toast with many raw radishes (I removed them). Nice place to take a bite and coffee, friendly service.

I went to Hija Mia while I was in Medellin to work. It was a fantastic place to do so, There was easy access to outlets and the seating options were good. As a barrista and coffee lover, I thought the coffee was great! I purchased both a pour over and a blended coffee. Both were fantastic. The barristas were extremely nice and the owner is a great dude. I'm very pleased with my time spent at Hija Mia Coffee Roasters!

Quiet little coffee shop to chill in. Well located in Manila but just off the beaten track enough to not be polluted with tourists. Roast their own beans here, excellent coffees on offer with pastries available too. We can also recommend the afogato.Sean was helpful with local tips & is enthusiastic about his venture & living in Medellin.Sorry we didn't have time for another visit before the airport - Irish couple

A large café in Medellin for breakfast, brunch and coffee. The food comes in large portions and everything tastes delicious. They have a lot of variety with their flavors when they make their dishes. The coffee is also really good. It is a great place to look for a good breakfast place early in the morning. All staff are super friendly and attentive. I recommend the Black Forest French Toast Mango Juice! Réservez une table maintenant

Expertly prepared coffee, pleasant service and surprisingly delicious food distinguish those Càfe as a place I’ll be happy to return to any time I’m in the area. Though perhaps not as well known as its “institutionalized” neighbor a few blocks away I’ll pick this place for coffee or food any day. It would benefit, however, with a cushion cleaning or replacement for its outside seating.

The food is amazingly delicious, we have tried various dishes and were super satisfied with all. They even made me a dish that was no longer on the menu, but that I had seen on Google. Coffee or cappuccino was also super good. For me the best or at least one of the best cafes in Medellin for breakfast or brunch. The staff was also super friendly! Very recommended to go there.

La Hija Mia was a stop on a coffee crawl tour. We were able to sit with the owner Shawn and experience his passion and knowledge of coffee. It was impressive! It was similar to visiting a winery. The beans are roasted at the coffee shop and are very fresh. The coffee was excellent. Shawn is from Australia. During the visit he spoke English and Spanish.

This place is smaller and more intimate what we prefer. The food was amazing, smoothies were smooth, and the avocado was perfect. Our server was nice and helpful and made our first meal of the day wonderful. It's a bit expensive, but the quality is unbeatable. We're going to visit again. Réservez une table maintenant

The cappuccino and espresso were perfectly made. The chocolate croissant was also delicious, just as good as any Parisian bakery. Additionally we had the granola and yogurt with fruit, which tasted great. Of course the service is great like basically all the places in Colombia.
