If we're on our way to the north of Berlin, we'll take a visit to the heavenly school. The complex is very nice. The impressive Pagode with the water basin in front of it and the many parking spaces around it can be seen from far away. Then you run several steps up to the first 1st OG, the main hall of the complex. If you are not on foot, you can use the elevator on the back of the building. In the main hall there is a water basin with goldfish (or is it Kois?). For my apartment, unfortunately, much too large : the decor works noble. Lots of wood, gold, glitters... The controls carry traditional Chinese robes. The dishes are brought to the table on caravans. The bowls with the dishes are on gold-colored buds. The food is not very inexpensive. There are some dishes that cannot be found with any Chinese. The map has been revised over the years. You can always find new offers. The quality of food varies. Once we had Dim Sum as an appetizer. My court was “Rinderkamm in a delicate tofu shell”. I got tough beef I had to chew well. The tofu shell was completely missing. The portion was fine for EUR 3.50. The following main dish was much better: pork marinated in honey with china cabbage and peanuts for EUR 13.50. The portion was huge, I barely managed it. The meat tasted excellent, there were many peanuts. This fancy restaurant is mostly well visited. Accordingly, the atmosphere is loud and uncomfortable. The waiters are constantly walking around the tables. They are professionally impersonal. Chinese buffet has been offered for some time. Different prices are required at different times. On a Friday evening we took a look at the buffet and found it not very extensive. In the meantime the offer has been extended; some drinks are included in the price. It has become more expensive. Details can be taken from the website. There are two sister restaurants, the Kaiserpagode in Stahnsdorf as well as the small Silver Pagoda in the 6th. Floor of the Berlin KaDeWe. It is more a snack, suitable for eating in passing. In the Imperial Palace and the Heavenly Practitioner, whoever dares, can also marry. Conclusion Anyone who wants to eat Chinese in an unusual environment is right here. A visit to the heavenly pastor is an experience. Those who value a cozy, personal atmosphere are better off at the tribal china around the corner.
